Avenia Studio / Websites for builders
Websites for builders, built around your work
Photos of your work first, your reviews on show, and a quote form that asks the right questions. You see a free draft first, and only pay if you want it live.
What a builder's website needs to do
People usually look you up after a recommendation, often on their phone. These are the things that make it easy for them to get in touch. Starting from scratch? Our guide covers how to get a website for your building business, step by step.
Photos of your work, first
People want to see the standard of your work before anything else. Your best finished job fills the first screen.
One project, shown properly
Where it was, how long it took and what was included. Facts beat adjectives.
How you work, step by step
Free visit, written quote, start date, final walk-round. It takes the worry out of picking a builder.
Reviews that answer the usual worries
Tidy, on time, no surprises on the bill. The reviews that say so go first.
A quote form that asks the right questions
Type of job, postcode, start date and whether they have drawings yet, so you know if it's a fit before you ring back.
Your approvals and areas
FMB, TrustMark or your trade body, linked, plus the towns you cover in plain words.
An example build, explained
One price for every builder
The draft is free. If you want it live, it's £549 one-off, and the whole site is yours. You buy the domain in your own name and pay for it directly, so it's always yours too. Hosting, with 2 small changes each month, is £49 a month. It's optional, with no minimum term. Don't want it? You get all the files, and we'll help you move the site once. No VAT is added. The prices you see are what you pay.
Questions builders ask
Can you show before and after photos?
Yes. Before and after photos of the same job are some of the most convincing things a builder can show.
Can you link my FMB or TrustMark membership?
Yes. Your membership goes on the page with a link to your entry, so customers can check it.
Do I need my own photos?
Your own are best, and the draft uses the ones you've added to your Google profile. Where there's a gap, we can use a general licensed photo, but never one that pretends to be your work.
Get your free draft in two steps
First, a quick check of the website you've got now. Then tell us where to send your draft. It takes about two minutes, and you don't pay anything unless you want the site live.
How does your website score?
Seven yes or no questions. No website yet? Just answer no.
Can someone ring you with one tap on a phone?
Are your Google reviews on your homepage?
Does it show your rating and how many reviews you have?
Can people ask for a call back without ringing?
Are there photos of your own jobs, with where they were done?
Are your approvals on show and linked to the register?
Does it load quickly and work properly on a phone?
Your score shows here as you go.
Where should we send it?
We'll build your draft from your Google profile and website.
